BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby closed and abandoned a portion of an alley located southwest from Union Avenue, Northwest of Greenwood Avenue, more particularly described herein, and as shown on plat attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference: To find the true point of beginning of this 10 foot wide alleyway, start on the southwest line of Union Avenue 140 feet northwest of the intersection of the southwest line of Union Avenue with the northwest line of Greenwood Avenue, said point being the northeast corner of lot 41, block 44, James' Addition No. 2 to Highland Park, as shown by plat of record in plat book 4, page 3, R.O.H.C., thence southwest some 135 feet (plat), or 151 feet (map), with the southeast line of said lot 41 to the southeast corner thereof, the true point of beginning, thence continuing southwest 10 feet to the northeast corner of lot 44, block 44, said James' Addition, thence northwest some 137 feet with the northeast line of lots 44 and 45, block 44, said subdivision, to the southeast line of old Holtzclaw Avenue (unopened), thence northeast some 10 feet with said street to the southwest corner of lot 43, thence southeast some 142 feet with the southwest line of lots 43, 42, and 41 to the southeast corner of lot 41, the true point of 0C beginning.
